Ben Higgins Reveals Why He Isn’t Having Sex With Fiancee Jess Clarke Until They’re Married

“It’s just a respect level,” Higgins, 31, told Nick Viall during the Wednesday, April 22, episode of the “Viall Files
” podcast, noting that the two have been staying with Clarke’s parents amid the coronavirus quarantine. “And also what the logistics of it is.”
The couple, who got engaged in March, haven’t slept together since they began dating in November 2018.
The former Bachelor star explained that he has “definitely” not had sex in that “last year and a half” and that they are waiting until marriage to do so — at least that’s the plan for now.
Since the lovebirds don’t know when they will walk down the aisle, the former reality TV star admitted that they’ve considered having sex beforehand.

Ben Higgins Accidentally Invited People To Troll His Fiancée Lauren Bushnell

But online trolls seem bent on disrupting their post-show bliss.
Instagram users have been commenting on Bushnell's personal Instagram page, asking probing questions about her appearance, her weight, and her workout routine. They claim that she is too skinny, and therefore they have permission to berate her.
Of course, it's not okay. So, Higgins tried to jump in and help the situation. But it didn't really work out.
He shared this photo of Bushnell flexing at the dinner table and captioned it, “She's mine. Straight Flexin. #fitgirl.”
Us Weekly noticed Bushnell's response before it got lost in the stream of a thousand more comments. Bushnell was immediately aware of the fact that trolls would comment on her weight, as they have in the past.

Ben Higgins running for the Colorado House of Representatives? The former “Bachelor” is exploring a possible bid in Denver for a seat in the state legislature. The handsome 28-year-old Republican has even set up a website, BenHigginsForColorado.com, which notes he wants to “make a positive impact on his local community.”RELATED: Ben Higgins and Fiancee Lauren Bushnell 'Will Get Married Very Soon'
Higgins, who gave Lauren B. (Bushnell) the final rose in last season’s “Bachelor,” has also been consulting with local politicians about running against the incumbent, Democrat Dan Pabon. Rep. Pabon’s political future came to a screeching halt in March when he was arrested in Denver on St. Patrick’s Day for suspicion of driving under the influence. The politician, who failed a field sobriety test, ironically sponsored a drunk driving bill that has those convicted of the crime appearing before a victim impact panel.
While Republicans in the 4th District already drafted a man named Willie Pinkston to oppose Rep. Pabon, the local businessman said he would drop out of the race to make way for Higgins to run. Pinkston told The Colorado Independent that he fully supports Higgins, who he believes will benefit from his “name recognition.” Higgins, who is involved in various charities, said in a statement, “Whatever lies ahead, love, grace, and hope are ideals that guide my life. I will take them with me into my next adventure.”
