Blake Horstmann Says He Has "Pretty Bad PTSD" from the Show and Slams the Producers

Cosmopolitan.com:

Shout out to the celebs who are passing the time during isolation by going on Instagram and spilling the tea (looking @ you, Mason Disick and Sophie Turner), cause really, we could all use some entertainment at the moment!

Bachelor in Paradise alum Blake Horstmann decided to do an Instagram Q and A yesterday, and he did *not* hold back in his responses. First, he went off on BiP producers and talked about how they "convinced" him not to take Hannah Godwin on a date, writing:
Okay so this is gonna be a long one...but fuck it I'm off contract...When I received the date card I 100% planned to take Hannah. I even left my interview saying I was gonna take Hannah. When I walked out of the interview 3 producers sat me down for close to an hr and convinced me to take Tayshia. It was 100% my decision they didn't force me or anything, but at that point I really truly did trust the producers and that they had my best interest.

Obviously i was very wrong and they didn't want me to be happy with hannah bc that would have very much ruined there [sic] plans for the season...
When asked if he would do BiP again, Blake responded that he still has "pretty bad PTSD" and wrote, "It's hard for me to trust anybody now let alone producers and anyone in front of cameras...people change dramatically in front of cameras..."

On Monday, the Bachelor Nation star, 35, announced on Instagram that she is expecting her first child with husband Taylor Leopold.

“We can’t hold this magical little secret in anymore!! Baby Leopold will be joining us in September! 💛,” she captioned a series of photos that showed the couple embracing while showing off ultrasound printouts. “We’ve already been having a ton of fun with our little sidekick joining us on memorable worldwide adventures, and now keeping us hopeful in ‘Quarantine life.’ “

Alexa Caves and Jasmine Nguyen Are Not Dating

People.com:
Two of Peter Weber’s Bachelor contestants are clarifying their relationship status after speculation that they’re a couple.

Jasmine Nguyen and Alexa Caves were both eliminated in week three. Many fans assumed they were dating after Nguyen, 25, posted a sweet Instagram photo of the pair on Sunday in Chicago, where Caves, 27, lives.

“Spoiler: we did find love after all🌹,” the client relations manager wrote.

But on Tuesday, Caves, who identifies as sexually fluid, clarified that they are purely platonic friends.

“I wasn’t going to address this because I thought it would just blow over, but I see now I’m getting a lot of questions and the story seems to be getting bigger. We don’t want to mislead anyone. Jay and I are not dating,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “She’s one of my best friends. I’m sorry to get your hopes up! That would be a great story. She really just thought that was a cute caption and didn’t think much of it. Jay is beautiful, kind, down to earth and very straight. Here’s to our friendship.”

Rachel Lindsay Said She Won’t ‘Be Quiet' About ‘Bachelor’ Diversity

I get that Bachelor Nation could use more diverse Bachelorette's and Bachelor's, but Rachel is going too far with this 'needs to happen' stuff when the show has been a success for 17 years plus. An older Bachelorette like Clare Crawley helps too and is a great change, but diversity just for diversity sake or even worse, bowing to political correctness (i.e. the fake Demi storyline) would just destroy the show IMO.

Clare Crawley Announced as the New Bachelorette on ‘GMA’

Clare has certainly had her ups and downs in Bachelor Nation and deserves a shot at being the new Bachelorette, but damn if this pick didn't take me by surprise, esp. since we first started seeing Clare way back in 2014. But hey, if the likes of Nick Viall and Ari Luyendyk Jr. can get a shot at picking who gets roses than why not Clare?
